  • Sunday February 12th, 2012. Rideau call!

    Barely recovered from our trip to France at the MIDEM conference, where the ROA band rocked Morrison’s Pub in front of a very receptive audience, we’re gearing up for a crazy week! We’ll be showcasing at la Bourse Rideau in Québec City on Monday night (see gigs page) and then returning to Winnipeg for a concert at the Festival du Voyageur on Saturday February 18th. For those who missed the CD release, here’s your chance!

    Our good friend Mike Sanders has just delivered an awesomely edited montage of the live show, recorded the night of our CD release concert in late november. Dan Perreaux mixed the live audio, and Mike and Amanda Fandych worked the cameras – awesome job peeps. Check it out!

  • Monday January 9th, 2012. MIDEM bound!

    MIDEM bound!!!

    2012. Mayans shmayans. This year promises to be an amazing one! We’ve just released the new album HYPERBOLE in Canada, the video for “Alphabête” is getting more and more hits, and we’re on our way to MIDEM in France! Cannes you believe it?$#@!

    Oui monsieur! The album is hot, the show is doubley tripley dope, and it’s time to rock the casbah.  We’ll be showcasing on Jan 29th at 10:00pm at Morrison’s Pub (10 rue Teissere).  After MIDEM, we’ll be showcasing at la Bourse Rideau in Québec City in February, and then will begin the shows and tours. We’ll soon be announcing a few dates for the winter and spring – here’s hoping we see you in your town over the next year!
